Decades Diginet Adds ‘Laugh In,’ ‘Comedy Binge’

Decades Network, the multicast network from Weigel Broadcasting and CBS Television Stations, is making additions to its lineup in December.

First is comedy series Rowan & Martin’s Laugh In. This groundbreaking ensemble comedy is a fun and funny step back to psychedelic 1960s, with its of-the-moment catch phrases, unique comedy sketches and topical humor, all elements that continue to live on in hosted comedy and variety shows today.

Laugh In will be part of the Decades programming lineup beginning Monday, Dec. 5, airing weekdays at 6 ET and again at midnight.

“Laugh In was a defining series of the 1960s, and reflects the pop culture of the era like no other,” said Neal Sabin, vice chairman of Weigel Broadcasting Co. “We are excited about socking it to America again.”

Also debuting on Dec. 5 is Comedy Binge, “binge-style” episodes of a wide variety of classic TV comedy series every weekday from 2 p.m. ET to 1 a.m, and all weekend long beginning Saturdays at 1 p.m. ET. It continues every day through New Year’s Day, Sunday, Jan. 1.

Building on the strong audience reaction to the Decades Cop Show Binge in November, the Comedy Binge will again bring a singular month-long programming theme to the network’s daily schedule, offering multiple episodes from 23 TV comedy series including Our Miss Brooks, The Phil Silvers Show, I Love Lucy, The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, The Beverly Hillbillies, Gilligan’s Island, The Brady Bunch, Get Smart, Love American Style, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Bob Newhart Show, M*A*S*H and more.
