Fred D’Ambrosi Named WOIO-WUAB ND
Fred D’Ambrosi today was named news director at Raycom Media’s Cleveland (DMA 19) duo of WOIO (CBS) and WUAB (MNT). He succeeds Dan Salamone, who left in January after 19 years in the position.
Most recently, D’Ambrosi was news director at WUSA Washington.
D’Ambrosi previously held news director positions at KFMB-AM-FM San Diego and WISN Milwaukee.
D’Ambrosi was a producer at WKYC in the mid-1980s. In addition, D’Ambrosi was an executive producer at WTAE and WLUK.
He is a graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri.
