Laff Sets Record with ‘That ’70s Show’ Marathon

Laff, the Katz-owned comedy multicast network that’s being acquired by E.W. Scripps, introduced the multiple Emmy-winning sitcom That ’70s Show to its lineup with a daylong marathon on Sunday, Sept. 24. The marathon reached nearly 2.6 million viewers and set a Laff primetime record in household delivery (167,000) and in adults 25-54 (122,000).

The marathon peaked with 311,000 total viewers and also delivered double-digit increases including +31% in households, +62% in adults 18-49, +61% in adults 25-54 and +29% in people 2+ versus the previous four weeks.

According to Laff, That ’70s Show, the youngest-skewing off-network series on multicast television, drove Laff’s median age down four years, to 48, vs. the network average.

That ’70s Show, now seen weeknights at 7 p.m. ET on Laff, with four episodes back-to-back, was a flagship show for Fox between 1998 and 2006 that helped its stars including Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis and Topher Grace become household names.
