Meteorologist Tiffany Savona Joins WLKY

Hearst-owned CBS affiliate WLKY Louisville, Ky. (DMA 49) has added Tiffany Savona to its weather team.

Savona is no stranger to inclement weather, having covered everything from tornadoes to hurricanes, and snowstorms to record heat and drought, while delivering the forecast in several high profile television markets including Philadelphia (WCAU); CN8 in New Castle, Del.; KXXV Waco, Texas; and most recently at WAVY Portsmouth, Va.

Savona graduated with a B.S. in meteorology with an option in weather forecasting and communications from The Pennsylvania State University.

She is a member of the American Meteorological Society and has been designated a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist by the American Meteorological Society.
