Morgan Murphy Sets Retrans Deals With TWC
Morgan Murphy Media announced Thursday that it has reached agreement for the renewal of its retransmission consent agreements with Time Warner Cable.
Morgan Murphy Media owns WISC (CBS) Madison (DMA 83); WKBT (CBS) La Crosse, Wis. (DMA 128); KXLY (ABC) Spokane Wash. (DMA 73); KAPP-KVEW (ABC) Yakima-Kennewick, Wash. (DMA 122).
“Time Warner Cable has done a great job serving our communities and we are pleased they value our commitment to provide the very best local news, weather, emergency information and the other network programming” said Elizabeth Murphy Burns, president-CEO of Morgan Murphy Media.
Burns added she is pleased Morgan Murphy has recently reached retransmission agreements with several other local cable systems in its four television markets. “With these agreements and cable partnerships our stations will continue to serve our viewers with the best news and entertainment programming in our markets” Burns said.
