NewsON Expands With Local News Browser

Local news video clips are now accessible from NewsON.us, featuring trending, high-profile videos and categories.

NewsON, the national service providing local news via app, today launched its video browser, bringing viewers another way to watch and search for local news video clips.

For the first time on the web, viewers can now access NewsONs local news video clips from across the country in one convenient location at NewsON.us. This website provides a complementary experience to the NewsON streaming app with top trending and high-profile clips highlighted for instant access. In addition to finding curated videos arranged in categories such as weather, elections 2016, and education, consumers also have access to download the full NewsON streaming app from the web.

NewsON provides consumers with access to live and on-demand local newscasts as well as local news clips on mobile and connected TV devices. It features video content from 142 stations in 100 markets covering 48 of the top 50 markets and 81% of the U.S. population.

The free, ad-supported app features navigation that offers instant access to broadcast-quality video. It also lets users search by market via an interactive map and for curated content linking coverage of breaking news events from multiple stations.
