WDBD Jackson Adds Rentrak’s StationView

Multi-screen media measurement firm Rentrak Corp. today announced that Fox affiliate WDBD Jackson, Miss. (DMA 90) has signed a multi-year contract for Rentrak’s StationView Essentials service.

“The combination of viewing data representing cable, satellite, telco and over-the-air households across the entire Jackson market, along with the viewing data being matched to behavioral and attitudinal segments will allow our sales team to sell not only the true size of our audience, but the quality and relevance of it in terms of purchase activity,” said Marc Jaromin, president, Jackson Broadcasting.

TV Essentials is a television ratings database currency that measures all networks in all 210 U.S. TV markets. The service incorporates data from more than 17 million satellite, telco and cable TV television sets and integrates it with product consumption information.
