WDRB Adds Chris Sutter To Weekend A.M.News

Fox affiliate WDRB Louisville, Ky. (DMA 48), has hired Chris Sutter as the new co-anchor of its weekend edition of WDRB in the Morning. Sutter, who will be sharing anchor duties with Kelly Davis, officially assumes his new post on Sunday, July 14, after being introduced to viewers on the Saturday, July 13, telecast.

Sutter takes over the spot originally held by Lindsay Allen, who has moved into the co-anchor chair opposite David Scott on WDRB’s weeknight Local Evening News at 6:30.

Before coming to Louisville, Sutter reported at WILX Lansing, Mich., and WLEX Lexington, Ky.

A native of Elkhart, Ind., he earned a B.A. in telecommunications from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind., and after a brief stint in pop radio, made the transition to television.
