Weather Channel Adds Meteorologist Liana Brackett
The Weather Channel today said it has named Liana Brackett to its staff of on-camera meteorologists, effective immediately.
Previously she was an on-camera meteorologist at KPTV Portland, Ore., where she produced the 8 and 9 o’clock newscasts.
She started her career working as a meteorologist for the National Weather Service in 2009 in Portland, where she spent six years issuing watches, warnings and advisories which earned her several awards with the National Weather Service.
