WTVT Adds Sorboni Banerjee As Consumer Reporter
Sorboni Banerjee joins Fox-owned WTVT Tampa, Fla. (DMA 11), as a consumer reporter. Effective June 6, Banerjee will report on various newscasts.
Banerjee has been an anchor and reporter for multiple stations in Boston, most recently for WFTX and before that at WHDH.
Earlier, she was a morning anchor at WLNE Providence, R.I.
Banerjee began her career as a reporter, anchor and political correspondent for WHAG Hagerstown, Md.
A graduate of Boston University, Banerjee holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and international relations.

Slight correction: Banerjee worked for WFXT, not WFTX, which is in Ft. Myers, FL.
