The Cox-owned CBS affiliate in Seattle will present a live special tonight that has been named, planned and even given a time slot by the audience over social media. As it airs, trending topics and audience participation will dictate much of the content.

Seattle CBS affiliate KIRO will mix online video with traditional TV for its March 22 news special Connect with Jenni Hogan. The show will start livestreamed online and move over to live television. The show’s host is one of the nation’s most followed local news personalities on Twitter.
Beginning Sunday, Dec. 4, the Cox CBS affiliate in Seattle is adding another 30 minutes to its Sunday 11 p.m. newscast.
