Weigel & Morgan Murphy’s WISC To Bring Milwaukee Bucks Games Back To Free Over-The-Air TV In Madison

Ten games will be available on WISC’s 3.1 and 3.2 channels beginning Feb. 23.

The Milwaukee Bucks are returning to broadcast television in Madison as part of a new agreement with Morgan Murphy Media stations WISC and TW. Viewers can watch WISC and TW over-the-air on 3.1 and 3.2, respectively, as well as on Spectrum (603, 605), DirecTV, Dish and most of the local cable systems serving Southwestern Wisconsin.

WISC and TW will have 10 over-the-air Bucks games this season, beginning on Friday, Feb. 23, when the Bucks play at the Minnesota Timberwolves. WISC and TW are part of the newly announced broadcast package in Wisconsin from Weigel Broadcasting Co.’s WMLW Milwaukee.

“For the first time in many years, Milwaukee Bucks games will be available, free and over-the-air, to the viewers of Southwestern Wisconsin and WISC-TV is proud to be the home of them. WISC-TV is also honored to collaborate with Weigel Broadcasting to make this historic 10 game airing possible,” said Lyle Banks, Morgan Murphy Media VP-GM.

The games were previously made available for local over-the-air distribution as part of the NBA’s agreement with Diamond Sports Group, the owner of Bally Sports Wisconsin. The complete 10-game schedule follows:

The Bucks will use their TV broadcast team of Lisa Byington, Marques Johnson and Steve Novak, with Melanie Ricks reporting from the sidelines for these 10 games.
