Watching That Integrates With SpringServe, GAM & Magnite

Watching That — a monitoring and analytics platform for the future of TV monetization — is now directly integrated with SpringServe, GAM (including AdX) and Magnite.

Publishers, such as those that operate CTV channels, can now stream data from SpringServe, GAM or Magnite directly into Watching That. According to Watching That, “it will mean streamers can stop leaking revenue immediately thanks to actionable insights from revenue data around-the-clock, and in near real-time.”

Watching That estimates that every day up to a third of streaming video inventory fails to generate revenue due to mostly avoidable factors, amounting to an annual cost of $8.8 billion. A major contributing factor to this is the multitude of data sources that Ad Ops teams must deal with. Watching That’s new integrations and automated data collection aims to mitigate against this.

The new integrations follow existing log-level and API connections to Freewheel. Watching That says its proprietary technology “is unique in the way it uses its log-level connection to open up an always-on stream of data, which is rendered in a client dashboard.”

Watching That CEO Cameron Church said: “Our new integrations means we connect with every scaled ad server in the CTV sector. We’re now able to significantly improve the performance of more ad and revenue operations teams than ever before.”

SpringServe is particularly popular with the increasing number of streaming platforms operating Free Ad-supported Streaming TV Channels (FAST).

BRAND CONNECTIONS

Church added: “Like Watching That, SpringServe was built for video, and places the emphasis on interoperability. This puts us in a great position to bring new, actionable, insights to the data SpringServe collects. So SpringServe customers can finally understand — clearly — what’s happening to their inventory and content.”
