Carlos Yustis Joins KTLM As Sports Anchor

Telemundo-owned KTLM Harlingen-Weslaco-Brownsville-McAllen, Texas (DMA 84) today announced that Carlos Yustis has been named weekday sports anchor for NoticiasTelemundo 40, which airs Monday through Friday at 4, 4:30, 5 and 10 p.m.

Yustis will make his on-air debut on June 19 and will join news anchors Dalila Garza and Carlos Sánchez and weather anchor Tania Leal.

Yustis joins KTLM after working as an associate producer and anchor for Telemundo Deportes in Miami since 2016. Before this, he worked as a sports producer for Telefutura and helped to deliver coverage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. In addition to his on-air work Yustis has managed several soccer teams.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from Florida International University.
