TV2020 will take place Nov. 9-10 at New York’s Javits Convention Center in conjunction with the NAB Show New York, with Chapman’s presentation slotted for 9:10 a.m. on Nov. 10.

“Mike is able distill to mounds of data on proliferating TV media and consumer media habits into the clear picture of where TV is today and where it is heading,” said Harry A. Jessell, editor of TVNewsCheck. “Such clarity is critical for broadcasters who are considering investing in ATSC 3.0, a new broadcast standard now pending authorization by the FCC. Mike will also share his thoughts on ATSC 3.0.”

TV2020 will explore all the promises and challenges of ATSC 3.0, also known  as Next Gen TV.

Broadcasters and consumer electronics manufacturers have been developing the ATSC 3.0 standard for the past several years under the aegis of the Advanced Television Systems Committee.
