Givens New Me-TV, Movies! Marketing VP

Weigel Broadcasting Co. today appointed Will Givens vice president of network marketing for both the Me-TV and Movies! networks. He will manage all elements of the marketing processes including on-air, consumer, affiliate and sales marketing strategy and executions for both diginets.

Givens comes from KSWB, the Fox affiliate in San Diego, where he lead teams both locally and nationally, oversaw the creative and strategic branding for the station and worked alongside the station’s network, syndication and advertising partners. During his 18-year tenure, the station was an award-winning WB, CW and Fox affiliate, most recently leading the market in local news ratings.

He’s also held creative and marketing positions at KMPH-KGMC Fresno, Calif.; KADY Oxnard, Calif.; and KADE San Luis Obispo, Calif.

Givens recently served as the president of the Fox Affiliate Marketing and Promotion Partnership Board and is a past president of NATAS Pacific Southwest.
