Me-TV Diginet Adds Five New Affiliates

The new stations bring the classic TV network to 155 markets, boosts its coverage to over 90% of the U.S.

Weigel Broadcasting’s classic TV multicast channel Me-TV Network has signed new affiliation agreements with the following five stations:

  • Capitol-owned WILM Wilmington, NC (DMA 131)
  • Bonten-owned KTXS Abilene, Texas (DMA 165)
  • Western Family Television-owned KJCZ-LP Billings, Mont. (DMA 168)
  • KTGF License Corp.-owned KTGF Great Falls, Mont. (DMA 191)
  • Western Family Television-owned KJJC-LP, Helena, Mont. (DMA 205)

Connie Knox, GM of WILM, said: “We are so excited about this opportunity to bring Me-TV to Wilmington. I’ve had many requests for this network from local viewers. I believe this is the absolute best network out there for subchannel options. It’ll be an opportunity for audiences to revisit their favorite shows while sharing this family-friendly programming with new young audiences to discover it for the first time.”

These additions bring the network to 155 affiliates and more than 90% clearance across the country. The Me-TV network can be found in 28 of the top 30 U.S. markets on cable and satellite. Me-TV is distributed with the help of MGM Television. Weigel is a station group whose flagship is independent WCIU Chicago.

We are quite pleased that our viewing choices have been greatly increased by these diginets and watch AntennaTV, Me-TV, CoziTV and PBS Create regularly. MeTV is our favorite. We watch it more than the CW and ABC and almost as much as ION.
