NewsTECHForum Free Registration To End

Free registration for the fifth annual NewsTECHForum conference, set for Dec. 11-12 at the New York Hilton, will end Monday, Dec. 4. Among this year's highlights are keynote interviews with Facebook's Campbell Brown and The Washington Post's Micah Gelman.

Free registration for the fifth annual NewsTECHForum conference, set for Dec. 11-12 at the New York Hilton, will end Monday, Dec. 4. After that date, qualified end users, who would normally receive complimentary admission, will need to pay a late registration fee of $100.

NewsTECHForum gathers news, technology and digital executives, managers and professionals to talk about the evolving challenges of multiplatform news workflow, the cutting edge of field reporting technology, social media news management and other issues.

This year’s NewsTECHForum will feature keynote interviews with Campbell Brown, head of news partnerships at Facebook, and Micah Gelman, video editor of The Washington Post, where a team of 70 producers manages an expanding array of online video.

Sessions at the conference will include Integrating Digital and Traditional News Workflow; The Contribution Revolution; A/R, V/R: State of the Art in TV Graphics; Tech Leaders on the Future of News Technology; and Digital Chiefs on the Multiplatform News Jungle.

Qualified end users, including executives, managers and professionals in news, technology and digital, may register for NewsTECHForum for free until Monday. Non-qualified end users may register for a fee.
