WPVI To Air Live Dem Mayoral Candidate Debate

The 2015 Philadelphia mayoral race is underway, and ABC-owned WPVI will host a live debate between all six Democratic candidates in the primary race. The one-hour debate will air commercial-free on Tuesday, May 5, at 7 pm. Not near a TV? The entire debate will be streamed on 6abc.com and on the Watch ABC app available here.

WPVI will host the debate at its Philadelphia studios. Action News anchor Jim Gardner will host and moderate, alongside panelists Ilia Garcia of Univivion’s WUVP Philadelphia and Chris Hepp of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Candidates are Lynne Abraham, Nelson Diaz, Jim Kenney, Doug Oliver, Milton Street and Anthony H. Williams.

The 2015 Philadelphia mayoral election will take place on Nov. 3, while the primary will be held May 19.
