App Ranks 14,000 Local Reporters, Anchors

Once per hour, the free Social Rankings mobile app from SND updates to offer a leaderboard-style display of local TV reporters and anchors by market. The talent is ranked by how much engagement their Facebook posts received in the past 24 hours. The app also shows the total engagement, total number of posts and average per-post engagement stats for each reporter and anchor by market.

The free “Social Rankings” mobile app, released in April, 2017 by Social News Desk Inc. (SND) now includes Facebook stats for local TV reporters and anchors across the U.S. The company’s free app now leverages SND’s extensive live database of Facebook pages and posts to track social performance of TV talent in addition to local media brand pages in every U.S. news market.
