Fox News is opening its 5 p.m. debate to all the announced Republican candidates who fail to make the cut for the Aug. 6 primetime event (at 9 p.m.), removing a requirement that participants reach at least 1% in polling. The change serves to guarantee the presence of candidates such as Lindsey Graham and Carly Fiorina.
Fox News Channel will limit the first 2016 Republican presidential debate to candidates who place in the top 10 of an average of the five most recent national polls, the cable network said on Wednesday.
