Nexstar has CBS affiliate KLAS and Scripps owns ABC outlet KTNV. Telemundo has KBLR and Entravision owns Univision affil KINC. Estrella TV airs on Sinclair’s KSNV dot-two subchannel.

KTNV’s 65th Anniversary Special Reels Off Las Vegas History
KTNV, the Scripps-owned ABC affiliate, produced an hour-long special for its 65th anniversary of broadcasting that’s uniquely Las Vegas. It follows the Sin City’s history of colorful characters, Hollywood celebrities and mobsters through the boom times and the busts, from Elvis and the Rat Pack in the 50s to today. The one constant? The principles of journalism “haven’t changed throughout the decades,” says Emily Atuna, KTNV’s executive producer.

KTNV, Journal Broadcast Group’s Las Vegas ABC affiliate, has launched a multiplatform initiative to tap teens, people like parents who have a vested interest in the teens and advertisers who want to reach all of them. For Our Teens includes digital features as well as special on-air elements.
That’s according to a Katz memo to its staff. Eight stations in six markets, including Milwaukee and Las Vegas, are involved in the move. Journal’s WTVF Nashville is already a Katz client. All the station will be attached to Katz’s Eagle unit.
