When affiliate boards sit down with network executives at the NAB Show next week, they’ll be trying to figure out how they can make money from streaming their signals to smartphones and tablets either through TV Everywhere or OTT. In addition, all Fox affiliates at the convention will get a chance to celebrate the new signs of life in the network’s primetime schedule.

The annual gathering will features best practices in asset, media and station protection.

The founder, chairman and CEO of Mandalay Entertainment Group will open the group’s annual gathering in Las Vegas on April 13. “Peter Guber epitomizes the essence of NAB Show, where attendees come from around the world to learn about creating, monetizing and delivering compelling content across all platforms,” said NAB CEO Gordon Smith.

The entertainer and philanthropist will be presented with the group’s Distinguished Service Award on April 13 during the opening session of the NAB Show in Las Vegas.
