WPVI Philly Testing Augmented Reality
In the coming weeks, the ABC O&O will start promotions for its Virtual View — an augmented reality experience that will make its debut at the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade. The station hopes the technical enhancement to the broadcast will help draw in more viewers. To take advantage of Virtual View, viewers need to download the app Junaio, which is available for iOS and Android.

Chip Kelly and the Eagles kick off the season at the Redskins for the first Monday Night Football game of the season live on ABC affiliate WPVI Philadelphia (DMA 4). The action starts at 7 p.m. on the Eagles official broadcast TV partner. Following the game, the Action News sports team will have a complete wrapup, with WPVI’s Post Game Report live from FedEx Field. Ducis Rodgers, Jamie Apody and Jeff Skversky will dissect Chip Kelly’s NFL debut, and highlight all the game-changing plays.
